Cli-Fi is short for Climate-Fiction, otherwise known as speculative fiction. Over the course of three months I read six speculative fiction novels all containing themes of food security and politics.
The series is compromised of three parts spread over two books, and marketing materials. First is a catalogue itemizing the themes found in each novel. Then a process book in two parts. First is an analysis of fictitious food cultures and real world events that they mirror. The second part of the process book and third over all is a manifesto for promoting sustainable food culture in the reader's own life. The marketing materials are journals for collecting thoughts while reading the novels & Cli-Fi books, and seed paper posters to canvas around the reader's area, promoting accessible food sources.
The design of the package & print materials was developed with care to create a juxtaposition between the scientific nature of the writing and the eco/earth positive message of the project.
White Noise is a Penguin Classic, winner of the national book award and classic Science Fiction/Fiction novel. It is about the complications surrounding the distractions of consumerism and new technology in the protagonist's life. The design, an experiment in digital type and illustrative treatments, pushes the theme of the novel.

Savvy Tap is an intuitive water usage tracking app helps you save money and reduce your water waste. It comes with Savvy Sensors, which fix into any tap and sync to the app, giving you constant monitoring and control of your usage. This app allows you to set usage limits and share with other members of the household to work together, save money and the environment.
This project was a team effort with fellow designer Leanne Frejuk. I developed the UX and wireframes while Leanne developed the brand and UI of the app. We worked together to create the concept and the prototype.
